The Delgado quadruplets were naturally conceived after Kayleen and Zeke Delgado were told they would likely have difficulty conceiving. After two daughters and a miscarriage, the couple’s path to growing their family was uncertain—but not closed.

In April 2024, Kayleen became pregnant again. What began as a routine pregnancy soon revealed something unexpected: the Delgados were expecting quadruplets.

They were referred to UC Davis Health for high-risk maternal fetal medicine, where a specialized team provided close monitoring and coordinated care throughout the pregnancy. With each visit, the family learned more about what the months ahead would require and how the team would support both mom and babies.

From early uncertainty to a highly specialized delivery and NICU journey, the Delgados’ story is one of resilience, expertise, and an extraordinary start to life for four siblings.
